Mission
The Shannon Froio Foundation has been
established in memory of Shannon Elizabeth Froio, our six year old
daughter who recently lost her battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
We would like to honor Shannon by making a difference in the lives of
families struggling to deal with a diagnosis of childhood cancer. Our goal
is to provide funds to ease the financial
burden for families by offering assistance as needed for daily living
expenses, and to give the families opportunities to have fun together
despite the hardships of cancer treatments.
In addition, we will offer scholarships in Shannon's
memory at Cicero-North Syracuse High School and Beaver River Central School. We hope to inspire graduating seniors to pursue careers
in a
health care related field.
