What a beautiful essay from Conor, truly inspirational. I also think of Shannon when I pray for all of you each night before I go to bed. Even though I never met her in person, I have always felt that I knew her and all of you. My thoughts and prayers are always with you.

Dear Gayle and family,
I was so glad to hear from you. I am sure that just putting one foot in front of the other is an effort. but please know that you are never alone. I think of you all often and keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
My first memory of Shannon is seeing her smiling face in her Pooh costume on her CB site. Her smile was infectious!
Even remembering her brings a smile to my face - and a tug to my heart.
